FAW Re-Qualification

Introduction


Re-Qualification is for holders of a current First Aid at Work Certificate who wish to renew their certification.  The course consists of 2 days learning followed by an independent assessment on the final day.  


Note: candidates are required to show their current First Aid at Work certificates on the first day of the course.


Course Content


The First Aid at Work Training course is the HSE Health and Safety Executive highest required certification for first aid and will include:

  • Chest Injuries
  • Contaminated Waste Disposal
  • CPR - Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation
  • Diabetes
  • Epilepsy
  • Eye Injuries
  • Fainting
  • Fractures
  • Head Injuries
  • Heart Conditions
  • Incident Management
  • Poisons, Drugs and Toxins
  • Record Keeping
  • Shock
  • Stroke / CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident)
  • Unconscious Casualty
  • Wounds and Bleeding

  

All subjects are trained to be certified in accordance with Resuscitation Council UK.
